For children & play theray:
The first session will take around 45-50 minutes. Sessions are just with me and the kid one on one. Parents can wait in the lobby, their car, or come back after the appointment has ended. During the consult call, I will go over more in detail what therapy looks like and how I work.
For teens and student athletes:
The first session is really to up to you! You can talk about what brings you into therapy at this time, take time to get know each other, and possibly set goals for therapy.

My fee is $200 per session. Sessions are 50 minutes or 45 minutes (for young children/ play therapy). With children and adolescents, I also check-in with parents every 3-4 sessions to discuss progress, how to support their child, and process what is going on in the family. These sessions also go for 50 minutes and I charge the same fee. I do not take insurance but I can provider a super bill upon request. I also have limited sliding scale spots for those who cannot afford the full fee. Please email me to discuss about fees.

For teens and student athletes:
Finding the right fit is so important. Usually people who find the right therapist will feel heard, comfortable, and be able to work together as a team. It takes time to build a relationship - so it may take a couple sessions to feel out the therapist. This is why you have the right to end therapy services at any point.
For children and parents:
During our consult call, I will go over how parents are involved in therapy process. I highly value building trust with parents - this is why I schedule parent sessions every 4-5 sessions to check in on progress, updates at home, and get support from me.
-
Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours will be charged the full session fee. Thank you for respecting this clinical boundary as my professional time for your session has been set aside specifically for you.
-
Psychotherapy is confidential - meaning whatever information you or your' teen/ child will share with me or having you as my client will stay private. Please refer here to read on the limits of confidentiality. If you have any questions, we can talk about this more during the phone call or first session.
